SAN ANTONIO -- It's no longer Christmas as we know it.

In his new book "The Infancy Narratives - Jesus of Nazareth," Pope Benedict XVI is putting a new spin on Christmas. He says the animals you've grown up seeing around the manger are simply a myth. It's something that comes as a shock to some Catholics.

You know Lervia, when I saw this earlier today, I was going to write a comment like "Obama must have gotten to the Pope" thinking it would be recognized as sarcasm. I guess you would not have recognized it as sarcasm. Scary.

Somebody has been slipping the Liberal Kool Aide to the Pope, because he's gone over the cliff with this one, and a couple of other things recently!!!

This Pope is the leader of the Roman Church. They are one and the same with the Romans who crucified Jesus over 2000 years ago and they have been carrying around statues of Jesus on the cross ever since. Now, they would have us believe that Jesus wasn't born in a stable and set in a manger, where the Three Wise Men came and gave him gifts of gold, frankensence and myrrh. I guess there was no star over Bethlehem that night and there were no angels come down from Heaven to announce the savior's birth. Who knows what crack pot tales this Pope has come up with. Christians are on to all these sly Roman tricks. It is the work of the Jesuits and we are not fooled. We already know the whole story and all about the inn being full up, so don't waste your time, Mr Pope.
