SAN ANTONIO - A man at the center of a human trafficking investigation may also be the focus of several murder investigations.

News 4 San Antonio has learned from a source close to the case that police are gathering DNA evidence related to the murders of several women found strangled and burned over the last year.

One of the those women was found dead last August in a field off I-37 and West Boyer.

The source says investigators are trying to determine whether or not 43-year old Glen Dukes, arrested Wednesday for human trafficking, had anything to do with those murders.

As of now there's nothing to connect Dukes with any of the unsolved murders.
