Police nab suspects after string of gas station robberies

SAN ANTONIO -- Police had to follow a string of robberies at gas stations all over the West Side early Saturday.

The first robbery happened at a Chevron on Old Highway 90 just before 3 a.m.

Officers tell News 4 San Antonio a woman was pumping gas when car pulled up beside her and a man with a gun took her purse.

Then 30 minutes later someone in that same green car robbed a Valero on Highway 151.

Fifteen minutes after that, police spotted the same car at a Shell station on 1604 and Military Drive.

Officers stopped the car and spotted a gun.

A 26-year old woman was driving the car with two passengers that included a 30-year old man and 17-year old man.

All three were taken in for questioning.
