NEW BRAUNFELS, Texas -- New Braunfels Police are investigating after a woman was found dead inside a home.
Officers found the body of 27-year-old Melissa Eason at a home on East Merriweather Street after responding to a request for a welfare check. Authorities have yet to release any other details, saying the investigation is in the premature stages.
Next of kin has been notified, but as of now, very little is known regarding the cause of death.
