HOUSTON, Texas -- Police say a would-be burglar got more than he bargained for when he popped the trunk of a car.
Police say the man was driving with his wife and baby Monday morning when he saw a car on the side of a road with the engine running. When he was searching the car, he found the body of a man in the trunk. The victim had been shot in the chest.
No suspects have been named.
