"He heard some, some noise at the window," said Sgt. Gabe Trevino of the San Antonio Police Department. "He fired two shots towards the window and ended up striking who we believe to be our victim."

The father and son took off and ended up at an HEB Store off of Marbach and Loop 410, where they called for help. The teen had been shot two times, once in the arm and once in the stomach.

Raymond Gomez now faces attempted burglary charges, along with his son, whose recovering from the gunshot wounds at University Hospital.

News 4 WOAI did some digging and found out Raymond Gomez has a criminal history dating back to 2003. He's been arrested at least 11 times, including for marijuana possession, resisting arrest and driving with an invalid license, along with theft charges.
