SAN ANTONIO -- Alert neighbors helped San Antonio Police nab a pair of suspected burglars, who are accused of using kids to cover their crime.

People living on Gilbert Lane, off Blanco Road near Jackson Keller, are always on the alert for crime. Thursday morning, neighbors spotted a woman walking down the street with a stroller and two small children.

"She's stopped there, she's looking up. He's already in the house and she's acting as a lookout," said one man, who wanted to stay anonymous. He and several of his neighbors watched the whole crime play out.

Surveillance video shows the woman left the children with another woman.  The first woman then walked back down the street and then returned carrying what appeared to be some sort of case that she wasn't carrying before, the man said.

The video captured a man walking a few minutes behind her with a flat-screen TV over his shoulder.

Several neighbors called police and officers arrested a 20-year-old Andrew Moncada and a 21-year-old Marissa Portales. They are charged with burglary of a habitation and burglary of a vehicle, police said.

Police did not say if the second woman, who was seen in the video taking the children, was considered a suspect.
