Police: Man tased after breaking into pawn shop

SAN ANTONIO - Police have two men in custody in connection with a break-in at a Northeast Side pawn shop.

An officer driving along Nacogdoches near O'Connor around 3:00 a.m. Friday heard the building alarm at the EZ Pawn going off. When he stopped and approached the building, he noticed the front door had been pried open and the lock was broken. The officer then spotted one man running from the back of the building and ordered him to stop. Police say the suspect did not stop and was tased. He was taken to an area hospital and is expected to recover.

A second suspect was spotted running from the front of the store. Another officer ran after him and caught him hiding next to a car in the parking lot across the street.

Both suspects could face burglary charges. The one who didn't stop also faces evading arrest charges.

Dodie Lee - Why is your mom in an old folks' home? Did you get tired of taking care of her, or did you catch her stealing a loaf of your bread? Doesn't sound like the Christian thing to do, sending her off like that to fend for herself amongst other elderly heathens. You just made my Friday! heh heh heh

Dodie lee I only hope when you are old your children throw you off a cliff. ARE YOU KIDDING ME WITH YOUR COMMENT? Have you ever been tazed, the closest thing I can say it feels like its having a fat person sit on your chest you have no control over your body. But wait I forgot you are the biggest liar of them all claming to be a christian when you are really the devil.

This man is a burglar, and burglars steal. Stealing anything, regardless of how big or small, is a violation of the Holy Commandments, which amounts to an unforgivable sin. He will regret ever having stolen anything when God and Jesus burn him in hell forever. The law did the right thing. Anyone who is caught stealing anything-I don't care if it costs a nickel-needs to be tasered. Not long ago, this old woman who stays at the same old folk's home as my mother got caught trying to steal a loaf of light bread and a can of either tuna fish or potted meat. The people at the grocery store let her put it back. They should have tasered her right there in the middle of store, in front of everybody and then had the law to haul her off to jail in chains. That old hunk of lead made the choice of going straight to hell over a cheap loaf of light bread and a old tin can of salty meat.
