SAN ANTONIO -- Police are busy trying to figure out exactly why a man was stabbed.
The crime scene was on the city's West Side near the intersection of Santiago and S. Hamilton. It happened around 2 a.m. Friday.
Investigators say a man picked up a woman in his truck and wanted her to have sex with him. But she wanted to get paid first.
The two began to fight and that's when he was stabbed three times.
That woman is now on the run and the man is in serious condition.
