SAN ANTONIO -- Police have arrested a suspect in a murder that happened back in 2009.

The suspect, 23-year-old Latray Whitley, has been charged with murder in connection with the death of 34-year-old Corey Cumby. Whitley was arrested by San Antonio police Thursday night. Whitely is currently being held in Bexar County Jail on a $250,000 bond.

Corey Cumby was killed in a drive-by shooting after leaving Club Studio on Perrin Beitel back on November 8, 2009. Investigators said Cumby left the club in his Mercury Grand Marquis around 3:00 a.m. He was driving south on Interstate 35 near Walzem Road, when another vehicle pulled up next his in the right lane and a passenger in that vehicle began shooting.

One of the bullets hit Cumby, causing him to swerve off the road and into a ditch on the access road near Eisenhauer Road. He was found dead inside his car.
