SAN ANTONIO--The Bexar County Sheriff's Office is investigating the case of a man who they say is targeting the elderly and people from Mexico in a property scheme.

Louis Antu with the Bexar County Sheriff's Office said 55-year-old Mark Guerrero sold a vacant lot to two different people. "He's selling property that doesn't belong to him, " said Antu.

Antu went on to say the ordeal started to unravel when the woman who purchased the property from Guerrero thought someone was trespassing on her land.

"When she approached him, he basically said that he was cleaning his property he had just purchased from Mark Guerrero, so together they contacted the Sheriff's department, " said Antu.

Guerrero is currently serving 5 years probation. He was found guilty back in 2010 of theft against an elderly person.

Antu told News 4 WOAI the Sheriff's Office and the District Attorney's Office are both working together to build another case against Guerrero.

"We want the public to know that he's out there, and if there's anyone else that he's done this to, please come forward, " added Antu.

Antu said Guerrero will be facing charges of theft by deception.

POS scumbag praying on the hopes and dreams of hardworking people. This trash never learned his lesson being already on probation and continues his criminal behavior. Hopefully, the cops put him away first before street justice catches up to him!
