SAN ANTONIO - A bartender is in the hospital after being attacked by a customer.
The attack happened around 11:00 p.m. Thursday at Pegasus bar on North Main Avenue. Police say a patron got angry with the bartender and stabbed him several times with a broken beer bottle. Other customers intervened and tackled the suspect.
Officers say the alleged attacker was taken to University Hospital for observation. The bartender was transported to SAMMC and is expected to make a full recovery.
