NATALIA, Texas -- Six people were injured in a rollover crash on Interstate 35 near Natalia Thursday morning.
The accident happened around 10:45 a.m. Thursday. A Department of Public Safety spokesperson said a couple and four children were traveling in a car, when the tread on the right rear tire separated, causing the driver to lose control. The car rolled in the median twice.
The mother , who was driving, was trapped inside vehicle, and the Jaws of Life were needed to free her. She was taken by AirLife to University Hospital with head injuries. One of the children was taken by AirLife to Santa Rosa Children's Hospital.
The father and the other three children were taken to University Hospital by ambulance.
