SAN ANTONIO -- Firefighters had their hands full battling a pallet fire on the South Side.
The fire started around 7:30 a.m. at Commercial Avenue and West Chavaneaux, just north of Loop 410. A spokesperson for the San Antonio Fire Department said a stack of pallets about 40 feet wide and 60 feet long caught fire. Fire crews had problems with some heavy power lines on the property and had to call CPS Energy for assistance.
No injuries were reported.
