SAN ANTONIO -- Police are searching for two men who robbed a North Side beauty supply store.
Investigators say two men walked into the Sally's Beauty Supply in the 11,500 block of West Avenue around 9:50 a.m. Monday. One of the men stayed in the front of the store, while the other went to the back, grabbed an employee, and demanded money.
The man in the front of the store found a safe, and both then demanded the employee turn over the key. The pair took an unknown amount of cash from the safe and ran out of the back of the store. Witnesses behind the building saw the men run into a nearby apartment complex.
Police said the both men were Latin and believed to be between 20 and 25 years of age. One of the men had "sleeve" tattoos on both arms and hands. Both were wearing hoodies and bandanas over their faces.
No one was hurt.
