just have breathalizers at every exit of every fiesta event, take their keys if they are drunk and make them pay for a cab. this "mandatory" cost will be a lot less expensive than court fees and time spent in prison because they killed someone than the $20 cab ride home :)

There needs to be a study on where these drunk drivers are coming from, like what age group, where were they drinking. If it turns out they all come from bars then holding bars accountable may be a solution. I can understand if it was one or two here and there incidents but it's happening too often and new laws will not solve it considering once you are wasted laws will not make you think about the law. I mean the danger to themselves and others was not enough to stop them. but unfortunately nothing will change. We'll just hear of another kid killed by a drunk driver and SA will just say "oh, how unfortunate" then go on business as usual as if there is no problem.

If these drunk drivers were put in jail abd their drivers license revoked there would be less accidents. So lets take away their license and their cars.

54 DWI arrests reported Saturday; 72 reported Sunday 12 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thank you City council for sponsoring FIESTA and endangering all of the lives of San Antonio.

It time San Antonio lawmakers, judges and police to quit playing with these drunk drivers. These idiots need to spend time behind bars, loss of their licenses for year for the first offense. The laws need to get tougher on these people. We are a laughing stock here in San Antonio. This is an every night event and just to many people are getting effected by these stupid drunk driver. Put a stop to it.
