CANYON LAKE, Texas -- One person was killed and two others were injured in a crash near Canyon Lake early Monday.
Officials with the Department of Public Safety say a 1999 Dodge Pickup traveling south on FM 306 in the northbound lane struck a 2002 Lincoln Navigator near the intersection of FM 2673 around 12:15 a.m. Monday.
The driver of the truck, identified as Kodak Griffin of New Braunfels, was taken to University Hospital with head injuries.
The driver of the Lincoln Navigator, 24-year-old Annette Villarreal of San Antonio, died at the scene. Her passenger, 42-year-old Laura Torres, was also injured. Information about her condition was not available.
