One in three teen girls admit to risky internet behavior

SAN ANTONIO -- One in three teenage girls admits to having a face to face meeting with someone they met online.

Researchers at Cincinnati Children's Hospital said they also found girls who were either sexually or physically abused were more likely to create provocative online profiles.

The researchers say the best way to reduce risky internet behavior is for parents to closely monitor their children's online activity.
