SAN ANTONIO - Gunfire that erupted at a late night house party early Saturday in south Bexar County left a 20-year-old man dead and a 13-year-old girl in critical condition, officials said. A third victim, a 20-year-old man, remained hospitalized Saturday, said Bexar County Sheriff's Office spokesman Louis Antu.
Antu said the girl was undergoing surgery Saturday at a local hospital. He said the condition of the surviving male victim was unknown.
According to Antu, deputies arrived to the home located in the 4000 block of Countess near Highway 16 for a disturbance around 3:15 a.m. Saturday. Antu described the scene as chaotic, and said the suspect fled the scene in a 2008 blue Dodge Durango.
The investigation is ongoing, he said, adding no arrests have been made.
