SAN ANTONIO -- Police are searching for a burglar they say tried to steal from an East Side lumber yard.
Police responded to alarms at the Guadalupe Lumber location off of Rigsby around 10:15 p.m. Tuesday. The owner spotted a suspect inside the store through surveillance video. When officers arrived, the suspect cut a fence and ran away.
One officer was cut on the fence's barbed wire as he chased the suspect. He was treated at the scene and is expected to be alright.
