SAN ANTONIO -- A Bexar County Sheriff's deputy was arrested after police say he assaulted his fiancée.
Deputy Reynaldo Fraga-Flores was arrested Saturday. According to an arrest report, Fraga-Flores fiancée said he hit her in the face with a refrigerator door while the two were arguing in the kitchen of their home. The report states the woman fell, hit her jaw on the floor, and blacked out. She told officers when she woke up, Fraga-Flores had stepped outside, and she ran to the door, locked him out, and called police.
When officers arrived, they said the woman's face was covered in blood and she was unable to close her mouth. They also noted there was a pool of blood in the kitchen, and what appeared to be a man's bloody shoe print. The officers then questioned Fraga-Flores, who said he had not touched the woman and that "She did that to herself."
Fraga-Flores is charged with assault.
