SAN ANTONIO- Parts of Woodlawn Avenue were shut down after a water main break sent water rushing through the streets.
The break happened around 1:00 a.m. Monday on Woodlawn between Flores and Blanco. Police told us construction had just finished on this stretch of road last week. Crews on scene said you could see water gushing from under the street.
A San Antonio Water System spokesperson said Monday afternoon the break was repaired and service was restored. Crews still have to replace some of the road near the break. A timeline for that work has not been set.
