SAN ANTONIO - Taxpayers can now use credit cards to pay their property taxes at any of the Bexar County Tax Assessor-Collector's offices.
While that has been the case both on-line and over the phone for several years, it wasn't at the office locations.
Processing fees will be passed on to the customer and appear as separate charges on customers' receipts.
The processing fee for using a credit card to pay property tax or register motor vehicles is 2.35% of the total paid, or a $2 flat fee for amounts under $100.
