Great Shepard? LOL! I do not like the name change. It will always be Saint Leo the Great to my family and I.

Catholic schools have deteriorated of late. They get the expelled public school kids whose parents can pay the tuition. Private schools get these types also.

Catholic schools are no different than a public school, especially with so many resources that our public schools have these days; greater opportunties for those that care to take advantage. Catholic schools are no more than an education which includes religion, plus a tuition and that's it!!!- values were not practiced in the catholic school my son attended; you can wear the uniform and wear the school's mission, but certainly not practice it; hard when 80% are there for disciplanary and although my kid wasn't in the mix of these sort of kids, it was still mind boogling; we did expect a little better than most; Been there, done that and completely disgusted with the experiences we've had. I'm certain that all catholic schools are all not the same, but certainly the school we've experienced has major issues that need to be addressed beginning with authority and adminstration; when sports news is all you have to send out to parents in a newsletter and not academics, then you know priorities are messed up; we also well aware the attending school ANYWHERE is a privilege, NOT A RIGHT.
