SAN ANTONIO -- If mountain cedar just keeps bothering you, the good news is there's a new allergy drug for it. The bad news is the drug won't be available until next season.

"Dymista" is made by a Swedish company. It will treat any allergy, including mountain cedar. The way the drug works is by combining a nasal steroid with a nasal antihistamine.

"So rather than having to use two inhalers for two medications, it will all be in one spray device," explained Allergist Dr. Paul Ratner. "And the studies have been very impressive showing that the combination of the two drugs together works much better than either one of the drugs individually."

Dr. Ratner said the drug should be approved by the FDA in May and on the shelves by fall. It will only available with a doctor's prescription.

If the new allergy drug won't be available till next season, then why talk about it.
