SAN ANTONIO -- A Navy recruiter was arrested and is accused of sexually assaulting an active duty service member.
An arrest warrant affidavit states the alleged assault happened in December at the Navy recruiting office off Broadway in Alamo Heights. The affidavits says two cousins came in to see about changing their Navy status from active duty to reservist. They say Juan Jose Pena offered them drinks, and one of the victims ended up unconscious. According to the affidavit, that's when Pena had sex with her. It also states he drove her home and left her on her front doorstep.
Pena was released on bond, but will also face charges with the military.
