SAN ANTONIO -- The driver of a large moving truck lost control and slammed into a home in the 900 block of Mt. Serolod near Blanco and West Avenue on the north side. Police say the wet roads may be to blame.

According to police on the scene, it was just before 4:00 a.m. Tuesday when the driver of the moving truck hit a sign, drove through a yard and crashed into the bedroom of a home. Police say the homeowner's mother was asleep in the bedroom, but was not injured.

The driver of the moving truck was transported to University Hospital for a possible concussion.

I'm so glad no one was hurt. That is truely the meaning of having a rude awakening.
