SAN ANTONIO - San Antonio Police say a motorcycle rider was taken to the hospital after being struck by a car Thursday night. Officers said the incident happened around 10:15pm at Loop 1604 and Culebra Road on the West Side. Investigators at the scene said the motorcyclist was attempting to cross five lanes of traffic when the driver of a Dodge Neon hit him. The motorcyclist suffered multiple injuries and was taken to University Hospital in stable condition. The female driver the Dodge Neon was not hurt.
