SAN ANTONIO - After 20 years or so I thought I'd seen the best sports had to offer – until Friday. For the first time I saw a sports hero through the eyes of my 3-year-old son Luke.
Monster Jam has invaded San Antonio. Trucks and drivers were all over town Friday, signing autographs and posing for pictures with fans of all ages.
We went to see Bounty Hunter on display at Advance Auto Parts on the Northeast Side. Luke froze at first when he saw the truck, then promptly showed the driver he had his own mini Bounty Hunter.
Kids love the trucks, and the drivers love them right back, especially here in San Antonio.
“This is one of the largest shows Monster Jam does for a weekend. Their will be over 150,000 people in attendance of the two day show here at the Alamodome. So it's pretty awesome,” explained Bounty Hunter driver Den Winslow
The shows this weekend at the Alamodome: Saturday at 7pm and Sunday at 2pm. Pit parties both days hours before the event starts.
