SAN ANTONIO -- A local mom is turning to the public for help in hopes of catching her son's killer.
Jake Arredondo was shot and killed back on September 1st of 2011 in the 5300 block of Medical Drive. The 22-year-old Marshall High School graduate was gunned down in broad daylight at 4:00 o'clock in the afternoon.
"To this day, I think it's a bad dream, and I just wish it didn't happen," said mom Marylou Perez.
Investigators said there were witnesses who told police they saw a man shoot Arredondo and then run off on foot.
"They have some leads, they just need more evidence," added Perez.

Crime Stoppers will pay up to a $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of the person responsible for Arredondo's murder.
