SAN ANTONIO -- A San Antonio mother is in the Bexar County Jail charged with causing bodily harm to a baby by omission.

Investigators say 22-year-old Aliesha Sams noticed injuries on her 9-month-old son back in July but failed to seek medical attention. The baby eventually died.

Sams' bond has been set at $30,000.

A 30,000 dollar BAIL???? Really?? For the life of a defenseless child ?????? That's ALL this child's life was worth?????????????????

Thats 1800, EIGHTEEN HUNDRED CHILDREN MURDERED by their PARENTS OR BOYFRIENDS FIST...PER YEAR! 1800..PER YEAR...IN AMERICA!!!!! So,Shut Up about GUNS...THEY are NOT the problem.

Excuse me...the number of children MURDERED by their Parents HANDS, is 150 PER MONTH! ONE HUNDRED AND FIFTY A MONTH!...That is SEVEN times more than the Conn. murders, EVERY SINGLE month.

So...MORE children DIE (60) Every single Month,THREE TIMES MORE than the Conn. shooting. And these children are dying from their own PARENTS and BOYFRIENDS, USING THEIR FISTS,.....NOT GUNS! We have an Epidemic of PARENTS MURDERING their CHILDREN! These DYSFUNCTIONAL,SADISTIC,PATHETIC SCUMBAGS of Society do NOT deserve ANYTHING but the DEATH penalty. WE have to STAND UP for THESE 60 CHILDREN EVERY MONTH, by Prosecuting the PARENTS to the FULLEST EXTENT OF THE LAW! GUNS are NOT the problem...PEOPLE ARE!!!! These defenseless Childeren WERE NOT SHOT BY A GUN, BUT BY THEIR OWN PARENTS FISTS!

God is holding this poor child in his arms...Parents murdering their children,(and BOYFRIENDS),or beating them to death, or starving them to death, HAPPEN EVERYDAY in this country.And we have a bunch of nitwits more worried about Gun Control...I see a HUGE problem with that!!! There are MANY more Children MURDERED BY THEIR OWN PARENTS AND THEIR PATHETIC BOYFRIENDS, than ANY GUN HAS KILLED!!!!! EVER!!!!

fredmanjr.....It would of been far better to abort this poor child than for it to have to Live in agony, and pain, and neglect, and to have to endure beatings from it's caretakers, only to die from it...WHICH IT DID! This pig mother and her POS boyfriend DESERVE the DEATH PENALTY...
