SAN ANTONIO -- A military instructor will spend one year in prison and be demoted and dishonorably discharged.
Staff Sgt. Kwinton Estacio is the latest basic training instructor to stand trial in the sex abuse scandal at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland. Estacio faced up to 13 years in prison after pleading guilty to two charges, including obstruction of justice.
Estacio was found not guilty of sexually assaulting a trainee.
