Joe Pagliarulo is the host of News Radio 1200 WOAI’s “San Antonio’s First News.” “Pags” - as he is affectionately known - comes to us from WRGB-TV in Albany, New York - and joins Clear Channel’s flagship News/Talk station.

Pag’s career started in radio in Palm Beach County, Florida before making his way to TV opportunities in Michigan and New York.

“I am so excited about this opportunity at 1200 WOAI,” said Pagliarulo. “It's truly one of the best-known, most respected radio stations in the country and I'm blown away that I am joining the team. I'm so happy I'll now call San Antonio home.”

Joe Pags is a husband, father of three girls, car buff and admitted news and sports junkie -- always on top of what's going on. He set his sights on being a broadcaster at a very young age and has been on radio and TV for more than 15 years. He's thrilled and honored to be at NewsRadio 1200 WOAI.

Joe traveled with his church ensemble throughout the south in the early 80s and along with Florida, Georgia, Mississippi and Alabama, made a stop in Houston. He fell in love with the Lone Star State right then and there -- watching the Astros play at the Astrodome. Joe's wife has roots in the area having lived in San Antonio, New Braunfels and Corpus Christi and says this it's a dream come true to get back home.

Pags has won numerous broadcast awards from various state broadcasting associations and the Associated Press as a news anchor, reporter, producer, and talk show host. He is very community minded and has raised money for many organzations including, the American Red Cross, Muscular Dystrophy Association, Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, St. Jude's Children's Hospital, the American Cancer Society just to name a few.

You can hear Joe Monday through Friday from 5-9am on NewsRadio 1200 WOAI. He, his wife, three daughters and two dogs live in Marion.
