Don't bother running out to get this shot unless you are at least 50 years old. If you are on Tricare you have to be 60. My Dad had a horrible case of shingles that bothered him until he died. I had the worst case of chickenpox the doctor had ever seen. Home visits by doctors had stopped by that time but he made an exception for me. He didn't want me infecting his other patients! I got chickpox in places where they aren't suppost to be them. So I have to keep my fingers crossed for six more months that I won't get the shingles. Oh and some thing they probably won't report - you can get shingles INSIDE of you and not on the skin. That is the scariest part of shingles!
