SAN ANTONIO -- San Antonio Mayor Julian Castro wants two more years.

The Democrat used YouTube Wednesday to announce his plans to seek a third term as mayor. His formal announcement will come next month.

San Antonio now allows four two-year terms, which means he could serve through 2017 if he wins this election and the next.

Castro was first elected mayor in 2009.

Texas Public Radio reports that city “leaders” are at the center of a federal civil rights lawsuit being filed by the Texas Civil Rights Project of Austin TX. A second lawsuit - SA13CV0051XR- was filed on 1/17/2013 naming City defendants (Mayor Castro, CM Sculley, City Attorney Bernard, Council members (past and present), Chief McManus, etc) in their official AND individual capacities for Constitutional violations including the act of banning a law –abiding citizen from City Hall/Council meetings for reporting long-term, widespread public /police corruption and the theft/misuse of tens of millions of tax/grant dollars........... http://tpr.org/post/banned-city-hall......... http://blogs.sacurrent.com/index.php/staff/city-attorney-talks-about-banning-citizens-from-city-hall/

Unfortunately we have a city dumb enough to vote this weasel back in. This guy is a perfect example of a crooked politician who is padding his resume developing unwanted projects, at taxpayer expense. We need a quality candidate to run against this clown; heck I would rather have Bozo the Clown over this guy, we've already got the circus.

Julian knows he just needs to sit tight in his little mayor throne until 2016, when he will run as vice-president of the USA, on the ticket in which his brother, Federal Congressman Joaquin Castro, will be the presidential candidate. I know these news make some people flinch and squirm, but there's nothing they can do. The only way to defeat them would be to find a good republican actor (Bruce willis, Adam Sandler, Tony Danza?) to team up with Sarah Palin in that election.
