SAN ANTONIO - Parts of Catholic mass that the faithful know by heart are being tweaked with new translations from Latin.

For example, instead of saying "and also with you" Catholics will now recite "and with your spirit." Another change is in the invitation to communion. "Lord I am not worthy that you should enter under my roof" will replace "Lord I am not worthy to receive you."

The church changed the texts to provide a more literal translation of the original latin and to unify the world's Catholics around a more accurate version of mass. Churches will provide pew cards with the new responses.

The changes are to begin on November 27th.

It would be nice of the reporter to fully report the story and to include all the changes.... I wonder what the RC Church is trying to obfuscate from us with this - what is going on elsewhere that we are being distracted away from???
