San Antonio police confirm the body found was that of 35-year-old Jason Chapman. News 4 WOAI did some digging and uncovered Chapman has been in trouble with the law several times. He has a conviction for fraud, credit/debit card abuse, a couple of DWIs, several assault convictions and home burglaries.
At the scene, investigators discovered an empty bottle of Clonazepam with Chapman's name on it. Clonazepam is used to treat seizure disorders, anxiety and panic attacks. The bottle was found near Chapman's body.
At this time, a cause of death is still undetermined. Once the Medical Examiner makes a ruling, Sgt. Gabe Trevino of the San Antonio Police Department says they'll know which way to handle this investigation.
