Firefighters are now investigating a fire that broke out at some northwest side townhomes early Friday.
According to firefighters, the flames erupted just after 4:00 a.m. at the Echo Creek Townhomes on Eckhert Road.
Firefighters say a worker who had a pressure washer noticed the fire and began to spray it with water. He was on his way to work when he jumped into action. According to the fire chief, the worker helped significantly before fire crews arrived.
No one was hurt in the fire. Firefighters say that since the flames started outside one of the townhomes, it appears to be suspicious.
