Man transported to hospital after stabbing

SAN ANTONIO -- A man who was stabbed in the chest was transported to a local hospital Sunday night with unknown injuries after police say an argument turned violent.


The suspect, a man in his 20s, remained on the loose late Sunday night.


According to police, the stabbing occurred in the 5500 block of Kensington Run near Callaghan Road on the city’s west side just before 7:20 p.m.


Scanner traffic described the suspect as a man wearing a green hoodie with blue skinny jeans. The suspect was last seen heading east on foot down Kensington Run with his girlfriend, who was seen wearing a blue dress, according to scanner traffic.
