SAN ANTONIO - Police tase and arrest a man after he refuses to stop for speeding and takes them on a short chase.
It happened around 2:30 A.M. on the city's West side. Police say the 33-year-old was speeding off Highway 90 near Callaghan. Police tried to pull him over but he refused to stop. A chase ensued and took them into a neighborhood near Canteen Drive. It was there police say he crashed into a parked car and ran. Police tased him after he resisted arrest in a ditch behind a home.
The man is said to be wanted in Arlington for a parole violation. He has since been charged with evading and resisting arrest.
