SAN ANTONIO -- A man was shot outside a club in an apparent drive-by shooting early Monday, police said.
The shooting happened outside Joe’s Volcano nightclub in the 6800 block of Ingram Rd near Loop 410 on the Northwest Side. Police say it was just after 2:00 a.m. Monday when the victim was walking to his car in the parking lot. The 22-year-old man told police that someone inside a white truck drove by and shot him.
The victim was transported to University Hospital with a gunshot wound to his chest. Officials on scene said his injuries did not appear to be life-threatening. Police are questioning witnesses for more information on a possible suspect.
