SAN ANTONIO -- Police are continuing their search for a man who shot another man in the chest during a robbery on the South Side.
The shooting happened at the Alamo Auto Title on Division near Interstate 35 around 5:00 p.m. Monday. Police say the man walked in with a gun and demanded money. When an employee's fiance walked up, he was shot in the chest.
The victim, 50-year-old James Gonzalez, was taken to University Hospital.
No one else was hurt.
The gunman got away with an undisclosed amount of cash. He is believed to be around 35 years old, is approximately 5' 10" tall, and has a medium build. He was wearing a black jacket, a black beanie/ski mask that covered most of his face, and light-colored pants.
Police say he was driving a green, older model (late 90s) Chevrolet pickup truck w/silver tool box and business logo on both driver and passenger door.
