Man shot after fight at apartment complex

SAN ANTONIO- One man is hospitalized after a shooting at an apartment complex north of Downtown.

The shooting happened around 11:15 p.m. on East Mulberry near Broadway.

Police said David Arguello, 26, went outside his apartment to confront a man with a shotgun.

Arguello asked the man to put the shotgun away since there were children playing outside.

When the man refused, police said Arguello retrieved his own handgun and the two man began shooting at each other.

Arguello was grazed in the head and refused medical treatment.

The other man was hit and was taken to San Antonio Military Medical Center.

The shooting is still under investigation.

Police said they have not made any arrests.

It's not that there was "bad blood," it's that all involved lack the common decency to 1- let it go and 2- respect human life enough not to try and play God and take one.
