SAN ANTONIO -- A man was sentenced to 35 years in prison for killing a driver who stopped to pick flowers for his wife.

A jury convicted Stephen Richardson of manslaughter, and he was sentenced Monday. Richardson attacked and killed Juan Duran on West Military Drive back in 2010. Prosecutors say Richardson was so angry that Duran held up traffic to pick flowers that he beat him to death. Duran had just moved to San Antonio and had been in town for just a few hours when he was killed. Duran's wife watched it happen, and his two young children were in the back seat.

When Richardson was arrested for Duran's death, he was already awaiting trial on an aggravated assault trial in another case.

If your about to be on trial for aggravated assault you probably should be kept behind bars. So busy looking out for the trash's rights that we let innocent people get killed. Hang this POS and lets move on.
