Man run over twice, chased and beaten on the East Side

SAN ANTONIO, TX -- A man was walking on an East Side street early Sunday when an SUV ran him over, reversed, and hit him again.

The victim was able to run two blocks down the street where he collapsed. The suspect followed him, got out of the vehicle, and beat the man. Police found the victim on the ground screaming for help at the intersection of Eross and North Mittman around 12:45 a.m. He was transported to University Hospital in stable condition.

Police are looking for a man in a Ford Expedition.

Lowexan.......no, you and I were not there. I'm not going to depart at this point though into a debate about verbiage and adjectives in my previous note. If it makes you feel good, here it is........"you win"! Go ahead and pat yourself on your shoulder. By the way, SATX Lady was a standup act and apologized for her miscue. I respect that.

Well we can speculate all we want .its obvious some one was very pissed off here . my Guess it will over a girl or money . Now if we can get WOAI to report the rest of the story we,ll know wont we .

Peaches; I'm not sure what your comment is intended to mean, but again, enough with the Eastside...just as many crimes are committed on the north, northwest and northeast sides as anywhere in town...let's get over the incorrect infatuation with "bad parts" of the city as we're all in this together, it's all San Antonio.

SATX Lady... you shouldn't have to apologize for your opinion. People are generally good natured, and I would agree that this suspect put in an awful lot of effort to just mean. Mr. Brain, some people are just mean natured, but I don't believe this was the case, and you made an over generalization by saying 'every' victim. And besides, you weren't there either, were you? Of course, we'll never get all the facts due to WOAI's poor reporting... but nevertheless, one should never have to apologize for their opinion, that's the beauty of America and our freedom of speech.

OK ok calm down sorryyy...It's that time of the month and I was robbed once..I know who did it everyone around the neighborhood knew who did it..He was on camera outside my building a few minutes before my modems were shut down and I watched the whole video and saw no one else the whole night! But because there was no proof he was inside the building and because ne didnt admit to it he got away with it and yeah he got his but whooped..not by me..but yeah I just saw it as my situation..sorry
