SAN ANTONIO-- A man was robbed at gunpoint at a Far North Side credit union Tuesday morning.
The robbery happened around 7:00 a.m. at the Randolph Brooks Credit Union at Loop 1604 and Gold Canyon Road. Police say the 31-year-old victim had just withdrawn some cash at the ATM, when he was approached by a 20-year-old man holding a handgun, who demanded he hand over the cash he had just withdrawn.
The gunman and an accomplice then ran to a white vehicle and took off with a third person who was driving the vehicle.
The victim got into his own vehicle and followed the white vehicle. He was able to get a license plate number, which he then relayed to police.
Police set a up a quadrant in the area, and the suspects were spotted by one of the officers as they drove down Evans Road, between Bulverde Road and Green Mountain.
