SAN ANTONIO - A man assaults a store clerk and takes off with the cash register.
It happened around 11:30 P.M. at the CVS Pharmacy on Walzem road and Midcrown drive. Police say a man went to the counter to pay for a soda. When the register was opened, the man punched the clerk in the face. The register drawer fell to the floor, and thats when the suspect grabbed it and took off.
