SAN ANTONIO -- Police say a man became agitated and showed a gun after an employee at McDonald’s got his order wrong. It happened in the 7300 block of Guilbeau on the northwest side.

Investigators say it was just before 5:00 a.m. Wednesday when a vehicle with three men inside pulled up to the drive-thru and placed an order. Employees told police the vehicle left and then came back around to complain about the order being wrong.

The attendant at the drive-thru window called police when the man in the back seat got angry and started waving a gun around.
Police searched the area for two men who fled on foot. The driver of the vehicle is cooperating with police.

I like to pull up to the speaker and say I want a meal deal - When they ask what kind I say "surprise me" - Most of the time they insist on an order but several times have gotten a surprise meal.

Spurs Fan- Yeah, I agree, they don't always get the orders right, but I only have problems in the afternoon and evening hours. I have NEVER experienced a wrong order from the morning crew. Maybe I am one of the lucky ones. Wendy's across the street is worse though.

Somebody is willing to crap away their life for what for fast food? I hope they catch him. This reminds me of the Burrito Rage guy a few months ago at the Taco Bell at 410 Rigsby. He was upset about the $.99 burrito going up in price. This is another person who needs to be stripped of his second amendment right, permanently.

Be a little smarter, check your order before you pull away from the window. How smart is that, plain and simple !

If you are too lazy to go inside then you deserve to get your order wrong. Doubly so if you go through the drive thru and are ordering 4-6 meals.

Wow...complaining about Drive Thru Orders being wrong. Meanwhile, overseas,we have young men and women fighting and risking their lives every single day, for our country and so you can complain about drivethru service. How pathetic and selfish. Seriously, if little things like this make you angry, get a life.

While I agree this act was wrong, I can understand the frustration. I'm sick and tired of oders being filled incorrectly becasue of lack of attention, apathy and carelessness.

What the hell is wrong with people these days. Slightest thing sets them off and they think the answer is to pull a gun. what frigging IDIOTS ! One minute of being pissed is going to cost you big by being a machismo moron because you think a gun will intimidate someone to get your way. just wait, do it to the wrong person and your sorry A** will return the favor and you will be popped. And over a wrong order at the drive thru ? Please, every one knows they F you at the drive thru. No doubt this moron waved a gun then fled like a little wuss bacause I guarantee you this was an illegally possessed weapon. what a real piece of work you POS !
