SAN ANTONIO-- A driver is facing DWI charges after she hit a man with her car.
Police say 26-year-old Jess Ramirez Jr. was crossing the 1100 block of AT&T parkway around 11:30 p.m. Wednesday when he was hit by a black Nissan Altima.
Police report Ramirez stepped into the path of the Nissan, and the driver, 25-year-old Megan Homan, was unable to avoid hitting him. They said Ramirez was wearing dark clothing and was not crossing in a crosswalk.
Ramirez was taken by EMS to San Antonio Military Medical Center (SAMMC) in critical condition.
Police say Homan was intoxicated and booked for DWI but was not at fault for the crash.
