Man hit by train west of Downtown

SAN ANTONIO -- A man was hit by a train West of Downtown Thursday morning.

The accident happened around 10:20 a.m. Thursday near the intersection of South Brazos and Kemper Street. News 4 WOAI was told the man was walking eastbound on the railroad tracks when he was hit. The conductor told investigators the horn was sounded, but the man did not move.

The man was taken to San Antonio Military Medical Center.
